In Tameside our Practice Manager Development Lead is Mark Lowton. Mark is there to support all Practice Managers and act as a conduit between Practice Managers and Greater Manchester Partners, to ensure that local intelligence and development needs feed into all Practice Manager training and development offers.
Mark delivers drop-in sessions, supports the delivery of masterclasses and training and provides expertise as part of a peer group of development leads, to help shape the further development of intermediate and advance training supporting both aspiring and experienced practice managers.

The Practice Manager Development Lead role is funded by the Greater Manchester Feds. This is a collaboration made up of a group of GP Federations working together and providing Primary Care support and services, from across Greater Manchester, including Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, and Wigan.
